Cricket Australia Confirms Home Summer Fixtures

Cricket Australia (CA) has announced the full schedule for their home summer, confirming that India will tour Australia later this year for eight white-ball matches. The Australian men’s team will be playing in every state and territory for the first time in history.

India’s Schedule in Australia

India will play three ODIs on:

  • October 19 – Perth

  • October 23 – Adelaide

  • October 25 – Sydney

The teams will then shift to the T20I series:

  • October 28 – Canberra

  • October 31 – Melbourne

  • November 3 – Hobart

  • November 7 – Gold Coast

  • November 10 – Brisbane

Australia vs South Africa Preceding Series

Before India’s arrival, Australia will host South Africa for:

  • Three T20Is (Darwin & Cairns)

  • Three ODIs (Cairns & Mackay)

Notably, Darwin returns as an international venue after 17 years, last hosting Bangladesh in 2008.

Ashes to Follow White-Ball Matches

Following the white-ball series, Australia will get a 12-day break before the first Ashes Test begins in Perth on November 21. This gap might allow Australia’s multi-format stars to participate in the T20I series against India, keeping in mind the 2026 T20 World Cup.
