The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially communicated to the International Cricket Council (ICC) its decision not to travel to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This decision stems from longstanding political tensions and security concerns. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed receiving this communication and has forwarded it to the Government of Pakistan for further guidance.

This move is consistent with BCCI's previous stances, where it has expressed reluctance to engage in cricketing events in Pakistan due to similar concerns. The ICC is currently deliberating on alternative arrangements to ensure India's participation in the tournament without compromising on safety and political sensitivities.
