After skipping the 2023-24 season announcement, BCCI has released its 16-player central contract list for 2024-25. Young pacer Titas Sadhu, allrounders Arundhati Reddy and Amanjot Kaur, wicketkeeper-batter Uma Chetry, and injured spinner Shreyanka Patil have been included in Grade C, which has seen the most changes.

Among new entrants, only Amanjot Kaur is yet to make her India comeback after a stress fracture. The Punjab and MI allrounder, named WPL 2025 Emerging Player of the Season, last played for India in January 2024. Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, S Meghana, Anjali Sarvani, and Harleen Deol have been dropped from Grade C.

Grade A and B Updates

There are no changes in Grade A, with Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Deepti Sharma retaining their INR 50-lakh contracts. In Grade B, left-arm spinner Rajeshwari Gayakwad has been dropped entirely. This category now includes only Renuka Thakur, Richa Ghosh, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Shafali Verma.

Injured since the T20 World Cup in UAE, Pooja Vastrakar has retained her Grade C contract.
