Armed Police Force (APF) Club has tightened the competition for the second spot in the Men’s PM Cup 2025, trailing Tribhuvan Army Club (TAC) by just two points. TAC holds 14 points from seven wins in eight games, while APF, with a sixth victory over Lumbini, now stands at 12 points.
APF’s Chance to Overtake TAC
APF can surpass TAC by securing a dominant win over Koshi on Wednesday, provided TAC loses to table-toppers Nepal Police Club (NPC) in their final league match on Thursday.

Defending champions NPC, with seven consecutive wins, lead the table with 14 points. They will face Karnali on Tuesday before taking on TAC in a crucial clash.

Lumbini set a target of 224 runs, thanks to Mrinal Gurung’s 55 and Dev Khanal’s 63. APF comfortably chased it in 41.5 overs, with captain Rohit Kumar Paudel scoring 71 off 94 and Puran BK’s unbeaten 72 off 112.
Bagmati Crushes Karnali
Karnali was bowled out for just 58, the seventh-lowest total in PM Cup history, as Rijan Dhakal took five wickets and Surya Tamang grabbed four. Bagmati chased the target in just 6.3 overs, losing one wicket.
First-Ever Super Over in PM Cup History
Madhesh posted 246/7, with half-centuries from Rohan BK (64), Harishankar Sah (51), and Rupesh Singh (51). In reply, Gandaki leveled the score at 246, thanks to Arjun Kumal’s maiden century (106 off 140).
In the super over, Gandaki scored 22 runs, while Madhesh fell short with only nine.
