Ashutosh Sharma’s Sensational Finish Stuns Lucknow Super Giants
Delhi Capitals pulled off an incredible one-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants, thanks to a stunning unbeaten 66 off 31 balls by Ashutosh Sharma. Chasing 209, Delhi needed 62 from 30 balls with just four wickets in hand when Ashutosh stepped up. Smashing six sixes, he took the game deep before sealing the win with a last-over six off Shahbaz Ahmed.
Earlier, Mitch Marsh, returning from injury, hammered 72 off 36 balls, thrashing his Aussie teammate Mitchell Starc. Marsh clobbered six sixes and six fours, lighting up the scoreboard. Starc, though expensive early on, made a strong comeback to finish with 3-42.
While Marsh entertained with power-hitting, young Jake Fraser-McGurk struggled, dismissed for just one. But the night belonged to Ashutosh, who turned a near-impossible chase into one of IPL’s greatest finishes.
